In the intricate realm of architectural engineering, DESIGN ENGINEERS assumed a pivotal role by undertaking the responsibility of furnishing a comprehensive curtain wall facade engineering PS1 package for a distinctive project. The chosen exterior envelope for this edifice featured APL structural glazed systems, meticulously selected to seamlessly merge weathertightness and aesthetic requirements. This strategic engineering approach not only aimed at ensuring the structural integrity of the building but also sought to elevate its visual appeal.

Our involvement extended beyond the perimeters of traditional engineering tasks. We actively participated in the intricate process of joinery system selection, contributing to the minutiae of design detail developments, and influencing the profile design to align seamlessly with the overarching architectural vision. This meticulous attention to detail underscored our commitment to delivering a facade that not only met technical specifications but also exuded a refined and harmonious aesthetic. As part of our multifaceted role, we provided frame engineering checks, meticulously designing brackets that intricately connected the curtain wall facade to the building's primary structure. Our engineering expertise delved into critical aspects such as wind loading assessment and seismic movement accommodation, ensuring that the facade not only withstood environmental challenges but also adapted to dynamic structural forces.

Collaboration formed the cornerstone of our approach, and we closely partnered with LANCOM COMMERCIAL throughout the entirety of the project. Together, we embarked on a journey to deliver a facade design of the highest quality, leveraging our collective expertise to provide solutions that were not only constructable but also cost-effective. The synergy between DESIGN ENGINEERS and LANCOM COMMERCIAL was instrumental in translating the vision of the project into a tangible and resilient reality.

In the pursuit of excellence, we meticulously reviewed the shop drawings prepared by LANCOM, scrutinizing each detail to ensure alignment with the PS1 calculation and weathertightness standards. Our commitment to industry best practices served as the guiding principle, validating that every aspect of the facade design adhered to the highest standards and reflected our dedication to precision and professionalism.
